Rules
1.You may only advertise in the advertising section, anywhere else, and you will be warned.
2.No godmodding, you can not control another person's character. Also, trying to be the strongest, you cannot say that your attack hit another person, without giving them a chance to dodge. When in combat with another character, you cannot say that you actually landed a blow. You can say that you swung, but you must give the other character a chance to either block, dodge, or choose to get hit.
3. You may only have one account, otherwise, it just gets confusing. If you have more than one character, you don't need to make a separate account for it.
4. No flaming, period. Flaming is posting something like this to someone else's thread "OMG!! YOU'RE A TERRIBLE WRITER!! STOP ROLE PLAYING HERE!" Or something like that.
5. Spamming is useless and annoying, so don't do it. Don't make random and pointless threads, it's the equivalent of spamming.
6. You can only begin role playing once your application has been accepted.
7.This is a board for all ages. Nothing sexual is allowed. Kissing and hugging is allowed though.
8. Cursing is not prohibited, but please keep it to a minimum.
9. Pictures must not contain any pornography or sexual explicitly. If done so, you will be banned for a week.
10. Yes, there will be blood, but please don't go ripping someone's guts out.
11. Good grammar is appreciated, and have at least 4 lines
per post. To make it clear, the four line rule is for the role playing section only, the other areas can be less than 4 lines.
12. All of the artwork on this site was either created by me, or Sakura. You may edit the images to create signatures or avatars, but otherwise, please do not use the images in any other way.
13. If you have a problem with someone, then PM me, and let me deal with it.
14. How many times must I say this? You may not control someone's else's character! You MAY use some of the Canons occasionally as NPCs. There also are vampire NPCs.
15. Admin word is law! Follow it!
16. I don't think I made this clear, but breaking the rules will result in warnings, then you will be banned for a few days.
17. You must have an order for the threads, you cant just post over and over again, giving no one else a chance to catch up, make an order, like, say, Joe, then Bob, then Jeff, and you post in that order, get it? If you are the thread maker, try to keep everyone in your thread to maintain that order. If you are just roleplaying in a thread, post only when it is your turn. If someone does not reply for, say, over a month, you may skip that person. If someone says that they want to by skipped, skip them. If you want to be skipped, say that you want to be skipped.
This is an alternative to the order rule; this does not count on board games and the threads in the Out-of-Character category.
We have a certain amount of people who reply to each thread. Then, you can only reply once every cycle, so after everyone replies, everyone can reply again. Like, if it was me, Asumi, Tomoya, Usagi, Namiko, an example could be:
Asumi
Tomoya
Sakura
Namiko
Usagi
First cycle
Namiko
Usagi
Tomoya
Sakura
Asumi
Second cycle.
This is easier, because some people reply faster than others, but we would still have to wait for the rest of the RPers to make a reply. This IS a easier way to do this, so...if you can't necessarily follow the order rule, follow this one. If there is more than two people in your thread, replying every other post is breaking the rule. If another person joins, that person is added to the cycle, so you have to wait for the other two people to reply before you do. So next time, try not to okay? We're all trying to make this fun for you all.
18. You may not have more than five characters. If you already do, then I'm sorry, but you'll have to choose which ones to no longer play as.
19. DO. NOT. MAKE. MARY. SUES. STOP. MAKING. THEM. IT. IS. UNFAIR. AND. IT. IS. A. PAIN. This goes for all OCs, vampires, AND Canons. Too perfect characters who do not ever get hurt from battle aren't fun to roleplay with.
In other words...DON'T MAKE THEM! Your character vampire or OC may NOT be a Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu, otherwise you will NOT be allowed to role-play as them. It is ANNOYING when your character has a HUGE amount of good abilities, and has ZERO weakness. DON'T MAKE THEM WITH TOO MANY ABILITIES OR THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. As said above, you also cannot say that one vampire is stronger than another. These are the rules. Don't break them.
If you currently have a Mary-Sue, FIX the profile.
Other specific rule updates:
20. I would really appreciate it if you guys stopped discussing things in the art threads. They are meant for art, not for discussing things that have nothing to do with the art. If you want to do that, go post in "Whatever" but posting pointlessly in the art threads is the equivalent to spam. I have been deleting posts that have nothing to do with the subject, and I would appreciate it if you (if you think that your post is totally of topic and pointless) to delete the post. Thank you.
Or, in other words, stick to the topic.
21. IMPORTANT: THE RULE ON THE NEWS HEADER IS NO LONGER VALID. ALL OCs WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ACCEPTED OR DECLINED, REGARDLESS IF ALL THE MAIN MEWS ARE TAKEN. ALL CURRENT OCs HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED. THERE IS A THREAD IN THE APPLICATIONS BOARD THAT HAS INFORMATION ON TAKEN, ACCEPTED, DECLINED, ETC. FOR APPLICATIONS AND CHARACTERS.
And last but not least, the code, or pass: Ichigo
