It was a dark, cold night. The wind whispered in the forest. The animals hushed in sleep. *whoosh*, the sound of feet calmly gliding on the ground. A streak of black pasted by. Usagi was out for his daily night run. As the forest grew thicker with bloodless trees the less life seemed there to be. Everything was tranquil. Then *clang* the sound of weapons being clashed together, like bobcats shrieking in the mist of a fight. There out of the never ending darkness stepped Usagi, with his Advancing Darkness Staff clutched in his hand.
"Ryouko?" Usagi said with his soft voice blending in the harmonious wind.
"What do want RUNT." Ryouko's voice piercing the silent night.
"It's okay, there's is nothing to fight about" Usagi reassured is his muted tone.
Ryouko advanced out of hiding and glared at Usagi trying to penetrate through Usagi's coolness. Usagi put his staff away to give Ryouko the sign that he doesn't want to fight, looking straight into Ryouko's murderous eye. Ryouko finally gave up after long, noiseless hours, knowing Usagi had much more patience than her and disappeared into the darkness, which now was lifting as the sun rose slowly up the horizon. Usagi sighed.
"I wished Ryouko would see that life isn't about fighting..."Usagi's voice floated in the air.
Usagi looked at the sky, seeing the delicate sun already half way up the still sky, knowing sooner or later the other students would be rising from their peaceful sleep, so he bounded back to the academy. After some few silent moments, the wind blew on the face of earth, and a streak of sunlight showed the beginnings of a new day.
